Food Bank Drive
School Council is collecting non-perishable food items to support the Edmonton Food Bank this December! To raise as much as we can, we are offering students the chance to win a popcorn party for their class!! 🍿
Students will receive a ticket for each non-perishable food item that they bring in. At the end of the drive, one lucky student from each division will have their name drawn to win a popcorn party for their class!! 🍿

Purdy's Chocolates Fundraiser
Calling ALL chocolate-lovers! We’re teaming up with Purdy’s Chocolatier to fundraise for Esther Starkman School!!
Stock up on your favourite Purdy’s treats just in time for the holiday season AND support a great cause at the same time!! All fundraising profit raised will directly support school initiatives!
Orders have now closed. All orders will be available for pick-up on December 19 from 2:30-5:30pm at the school.
Healthy Hunger Hot Lunches
Healthy Hunger lunches are BACK!! We have now posted hot lunches for the year - so you can order one at a time or all at once!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!
We need approximately 12-15 volunteers to help us sort and deliver lunches to all of the classrooms. If you can help for any hot lunch, please visit the link below to sign up:
ABSENCES - if your child is ABSENT on a hot lunch day, you must contact us at estherstarkmanpa@gmail.com BY 11AM to arrange to pick up your lunch. We do not have space to store lunches - if we do not hear from you, your lunch will be disposed of.

Here are a few examples of what your support is helping our Parent Association to achieve:
Purchasing new books and resources for our classrooms through Scholastic Book Fair.
Purchasing resources such as new drums for the music room, gym equipment and Chromebooks.
Providing funding for classroom field trips.
Providing school community events such as Healthy Hunger hot lunches and spring Carnival.
Providing a fresh fruit basket in the office for students to take if they need it.
Renting the Terwillegar Community Church to host student winter and spring music concerts.
Supporting our staff with regular appreciation initiatives including breakfast for PD Days and treats in the staff room.
